El Niño Dios

The tradition of caring for el Niño Dios invites children and families to experience the love and presence of Christ in a personal way. From the Feast of the Three Kings on January 6 to the Presentation of the Lord on February 2, this centuries-old devotion helps nurture a child’s faith, teaching them to see Jesus in everyday life and in one another.

ABOUT US >

La Familia’s Catechesis, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Texas, is dedicated to preserving and sharing Mexican-American Catholic traditions. Our mission is to support families and parishes in embracing their cultural heritage through resources like books, games, and recipes, fostering meaningful connections between faith and culture.

We aim to provide families with engaging catechetical materials that highlight rituals, food, and faith practices. Our goal is to ensure these rich traditions are passed down, even as family structures and communities change.
